Baba Ganoush is a vibrant new arrival on St Nicholas Rd, and well on its way to becoming an integral part of the St Pauls food scene.
Owners Shad and Dael place an emphasis on community - which is clear from both the warm welcome which the staff here offer up to every single visitor, and the Bristol-inspired graffiti on the walls.
The food is super-fresh Middle-Eastern fair - think monstrously large grilled chicken, falafel or halloumi wraps (perfect to grab-and-go), or large mezze platters, ideal for sharing with pals, with a choice between meat or veggie.
It's all BYOB - so bring a few drinks (why not pick up some locally produced craft beers from some other Wriggle faves, such as Coffee + Beer over on Cotham Hill, or Beer Necessities down at Wapping Wharf?) and settle down to a spread of excellent value Middle-Eastern grub.
Also - check out the amazing table carved straight from a gnarled tree-trunk. It's been shipped all the way over from Mali especially!
