We have to hand it to The Geese; despite healthy competition in the "Best Sunday Roasts in Brighton" category and the challenge of its hidden location, they've built a sea of regular customers whose Sunday wouldn't be complete without flocking to the pub for a hearty Roast Dinner. It’s a small place - which makes it cosy and welcoming but can make it tough to bag a table. Wriggle tip: book ahead if you can, and if you're going to wing it, then a mid-to-late afternoon trip is your best bet. And if you can plop yourself on the big table on the left as you come through the main door, then you're onto a winner. Aside from Sundays, the grub consists of a range of good-value and hearty Bangers and Mash washed down with a selection of Guest Ales. A sure-fire bet for a quality beer and top-notch pub nosh.
