Brighton's very own sandwich legends Social Board have just launched their new venue on Castle Square - it's takeaway only, and has all. the. good. stuff.
Owners Tomasz and Atilla describe Social Board as ‘A relaxed sandwich restaurant for every day of the week.’ Both of these experienced chefs are formerly of Brighton’s favourite veggie eatery - Food for Friends and have decades of cooking knowledge behind them as well as a long-lived friendship. Together they develop creative recipes using locally sourced ingredients that not only satisfy the tum, but nourish the senses. Drawing on their fine dining background, the menu is of decadent quality but to be savoured with a laid back attitude.
The tasty food on offer ranges from handcrafted sandwiches, superfood salads, soups, smoothies, daily specials and a good range of vegan, gluten-free, nut-free and sugar-free alternatives. They pride themselves on delivering their unapologetic and fun food with passion and love. Now isn’t that just lovely.

The chicken slouvaki sandwich was so tasty and the service was amazing - super friendly staff!
Great for sandwiches / salad boxes on the go, everything is fresh & tasty, there's a good variety of toppings you can choose from.
Sooo yummy. Delicious hot sandwiches and lovely staff.
The food tasted good but the questionable hygiene standards at the place left me feeling cold. They use bare fingers to construct the salads and sandwiches, no gloves and no apparent hand washing. I wouldn’t go back.
If you want a hot salad box, ensure the meat is thoroughly warmed through.
