Why we love it

The founders of this unique mobile event have tapped into a unchartered market, ceramics and beer! Who’d of known they match so brewtifully! If you’ve always wanted to give a ceramics workshop a try this is the perfect intro for absolute beginners. You can sup on great beers, chow down on tasty grub and whip up a handmade ceramic to take home.

The experienced tutors will educate you on the basics of how to ‘throw’ a pot on the potters wheel, and guide you through making your piece. Once your pièce de résistance has been made you’ll choose from a wide range of colour glazes and head over to the venue a few weeks later to pick it up. Voila! It’s as simple as that.

The workshops run in Sussex, Kent and London and change regularly so keep an eye on their website for the latest events.

A really nice way to spend a couple of hours! Lots of fun and our teacher was very reassuring and encouraging.

Really enjoyed the pottery class. Our teacher was really patient and let us all create our own masterpieces! Very excited to see my pot glazed and fired

Very nice pub with good selection of board games

Lovely, friendly pub. Amazing food and fun decor.

I loved the pottery an d pints workshop- it was brilliant! The gentleman who was leading it was great as well and overall it was a very good value for money. For £25 you get a 2 hour workshop, a drink and your own pot and a tile! In terms of the venue- the prices should be more competitive for food and drink and the choice for food should be extended. The seats (especially benches) should be changed to be more comfortable.

Lovely atmospheric pub, staff were friendly and helpful. The food which is a ‘bangers and mash’ menu was lovley, tasty, well presented, a number of varieties on the theme and VFM.
