Located in an old Victorian period building, Idle Hands is a quirky craft pub for people of all walks of life. Reminiscent of the days when bars were purveyors of artisan spirits and wines, it has a strong ethos of handpicking the best of these, with an ever-changing array of fine wines and spirits from around the globe.
With 10 taps dedicated to craft beer that rotate regularly, Idle Hands showcases some of the best of British brewing.
Decorated in keeping with the Victorian building it lives in, Idle Hands is a bar that feels like it’s been there for decades. With regular live jazz and swing and a red piano welcome for all to use, come down for craft beer, amazing spirits and a tinkle on the piano under the watchful eyes of our resident ram’s head.
Great deal on the schooners with a decent selection available
Nice quirky bar with a good selection of craft beers. They seem to change the selection a lot which is also good.
Really enjoyed it, will go back. We don't usually go to pubs in Queens Road but the atmosphere was great and beer was kept well.
Being close to the station and on the main drag to to the sea front it does get hens and stags passing through. This wad the case for us. Staff were very patient and polite.
Great venue, nice decor and fantastic location.
Great hang out place. Attentive staff. Great venue.
