A refined corner brasserie, perfect for quaffing upmarket vino over elegant scran while you muse on the mad bustle of Kensington Gardens outside. The menu tells you all you need to know about the quality of this joint; Duck Rilettes with homemade mustard relish on sourdough, Braised Octopus (Served Cold), ‘Rabbit Saddle’ with black pudding, olives and crispy kale. It’s formal, sure, but not without warmth. Staff are well-drilled and know their wines. Decor is big on bottle racks and wittily curated tat. They do a reasonably-priced burger and lobster sharing option on a Thursday and plenty of champagne, and even a roof terrace (booking advised). A Wriggle favourite.
