The Old Crown pub serves up delicious pizzas, burgers, light bites, and pub classics in Birmingham's oldest secular building.
The pub has existed since 1368, and having stood the test of time during the English civil war the pub now stands proud in the heart of Digbeth, Birmingham’s thriving creative quarter. It acts as a central hub to the Digbeth community and is a landmark for the city.
The Old Crown is certainly receiving the recognition it deserves, winning ‘best traditional pub’ at the 2019 Midland Food and Drink Hospitality Awards. One things for sure - they sure know how to cook up a storm in the kitchen. What's on their rave-worthy menu? From Steak Sandwich, Tex Mexicana Burgers, Latin BBQ Sourdough Stone Baked Pizza, to Crispy Vegan Tofu Pizza and Black Bean, Pumpkin, and Coconut Curry, these guys really do have something for everyone.
Oldest pub in Birmingham, nice pub food even if drinks are a bit pricey.
I went as the pub opened as I was a lone female first timer user but had nothing to worry about cosy nice atmosphere
Tasty food, had more vegan options than I expected and the options were more thought out than expected! Vegan pizza too!! Need to try that next time. Nice beer garden also, with good music!
Great food and brilliant atmosphere! Servers could smile a bit more but can’t expect everyone to be happy 24/7!
The oldest pub in Birmingham. Great garden.
