In the kitchen of Kongs on Victoria Square, you’ll find the guys from Burger Theory slinging some outrageously good burgers.
Self-proclaimed creative burger people, Burger Theory turn out exceptionally inventive buns and fully-loaded fries. You won’t find your run of the meal beef burgers here; these guys are all about pushing the boundaries of what can go in a burger and bring global inspiration to their cuisine. The result: unique burgers with tonnes of ingenious toppings, sauces and flavour combinations. For beef fans, check out the “Blue Cow”: a beef and jalapeno patty, topped with crispy bacon, blue cheese, chipotle mayo and house-ketchup. And if chicken is more your thing, it’s got to be the “KFC”: Korean fried chicken with a sticky chilli glaze, spring onions and a smattering of peanuts. There’s a great selection of vegetarian and vegan burgers too, so everyone’s a winner when they stop by Burger Theory.
These quality flavour combinations owe a lot to the good ingredients the team pick too. They pride themselves on only using sourced produce, high welfare meat and a whole lot of love. The burgers, sauces and pickles are all made on site, so everything is fresh and packed with flavour.
Burger Theory are long-time favourites amongst the Wriggle team. Like us, they started their journey in Bristol and we’re chuffed to bits to see them raking in quality reviews from Kongs in Birmingham. Join the creative burger revolution and get involved - we can’t recommend them highly enough!
Please note: due to the full club license of Kongs, no under 18s are allowed at anytime.
The games make the evening a great one. As well as the great burgers and great selection of beers!
