Whether you’re a sucker for smoked salmon or crave salt beef, we can all agree that bagels are one of life’s many small pleasures. And you’ve come to the right place - The Whole Bagel team have been keeping Bath stocked up with bagel goodness for over 10 years now.
With all that experience, you can imagine they know what they’re doing. When it comes to the bagels themselves, The Whole Bagel knows that there’s not much better than choice, and that’s why they’re packing seven different types on a daily basis: plain, poppy seed, the ‘everything’ bagel, multi-seed, cinnamon & raisin, sundried tomato & olive, and our personal favourite cheese & jalapeno. They also have wraps, baguettes and gluten-free bread so you really are spoilt for options.
Then there’s the fillings made from high-quality local ingredients; with old favourites such as smoked bacon and brie (with chunky chutney and lettuce) and the Spanish Club (sliced chicken, spanish chorizo, roasted peppers, mayo and mixed leaves), to gourmet specials including french Brie and Pear (with prosciutto, roasted walnuts, and balsamic dressing) there’s plenty to choose from. If you fancy going sans bread / bagel, it’s worth noting that you can have everything in a salad too.
The Whole Bagel are also very accommodating with plenty of seating space for you to take some time away from work. There’s even a neat outdoor courtyard area out the back.
With so many lunchtime eats in one venue, it’s no surprise that these guys get busy - but their friendly and speedy service means you never have to wait long to get your mitts on a bagel full of good stuff. So if you’re reading this and it’s coming up to lunch, get out there - bagels await.
Good coffee, nice bagel and they use high quality ingredients. Little expensive for what you get in my opinion.
Great tasting Bacon Bagel, lots of Bacon and a good choice of different Bagel flavours...
Soooo much bacon in my bacon bagel. Love this place - everything is made fresh in front of you to your liking and the staff are lovely.
Best place for bagels in Bath.
Good creative sandwich combinations, delicious smoothies.
The ordering process is a bit complicated -- downstairs for takeaway (right-hand side of the counter); up the stairs to order at the next counter if eating in -- but the food is good and the people are friendly. The smoothie was very good, too.
