Part burger joint, part cocktail bar, MeatBusters know how to have a good time.
They’ve got a burger menu as long as your arm and a list of hearty sides made to impress. When we say burgers, we’re talking a bunch of hefty gourmet specials (try the Danny Dorito if Mexican cheese, spicy nachos, and homemade guacamole sounds like your sort of thing), set alongside selection of old-school classics done their way (we’re talking straight-up cheese burgers and phat veggie patties). And when you get down to the sides, we’re don’t mean just your usual fries; they’ve got buffalo wings, mozzarella sticks and chilli beef fries to name a few of our favourites. Everything on their menu is cooked fresh to order, and they take care in sourcing local ingredients where possible so rest assured that everything is as good as it gets.
And get this - Meatbusters is also the home to Bath’s biggest food challenge. They’ve created The Hulk, a whopping 2kg burger, which (if consumed in 30 minutes or less) is on the house. Rumour has it that around 70 people have tried it, and only three have been successful - but don’t let that put you off. If you’re up for the challenge, get in touch with them directly and they’ll hook you up.
If all of that isn’t exciting enough, then wait until we tell you about the cocktail bar. Run by a couple of guys with on-point knowledge, Ronnie and Ahmed serve up some of the best cocktails in Bath. Whether you’re after an old favourite (ours is a negroni) or something with a MeatBuster’s twist, have a chat with the team and they’ll mix you exactly what you fancy.
It’s safe to say that this lively little hangout knows how to draw in the crowds. They’ve even taken home a Good Food award, so you know they mean business. Get your laughing gear round one of their burgers, and you’ll be smiling all the way home.
