Good Day Coffee are sharing a philosophy that we can definitely get behind - that a good day starts with good coffee.
Run by Steph - a West Country local with a passion for all kinds of eats and treats - Good Day Coffee is a hot spot for pastry fiends, brunch lovers and coffee sippers. Their favourites include toasted sourdough (served with butter, marmalade, peanut butter or nutella), granola bowls and toasted banana bread, but there are also larger full english breakfasts and stacked sandwiches. Whilst everything on the menu is guaranteed to get your day started with the best foot forward, each plate is great for a long, lazy lunch (or, if you’re like us, that late weekend breakfast).
They’ve got the support of some excellent suppliers and producers too, with milk from Estate Diary in Chew Valley, and sourdough from Bath’s very own Pistrina. They even pack some stellar vegan cakes from Homemade by Ella - a proper local baker with some serious skills.
We’re also big fans of the look of the space. With its pastel pink walls and neon sign illuminating the space behind their large marble-effect counter, there’s an Aussie-brunch vibe to the space. It’s a cool, bright spot for recharging your batteries, with the combination of house plants and the scent of freshly ground coffee creates an affable charm. It’s exactly the sort of venue Steph wanted to create; a hangout that’s friendly, kind and inviting, in order to inspire collaboration and a sense of community.
It’s open every day so there’s no need to worry about where your next caffeine and brunch fix is coming from. Start the day right and swing by - that’s an order.
